CRAB Robot is designed and conceived by Jamie Martin, who has been awarded a number of times for his inspirational designs including Cobra Venom V8, SHC hatchback concept and London Navigator bus. The CRAB robot is an awesome accomplishment and a master piece of conceptual futuristic 3D design and dexterity. Jamie created a fictional character from where he took the idea of building CRAB robot. The abbreviation of CRAB is Cybernetic Autonomous Remote Barricade is a product of Dalton/ Stanley, a fictional weapons and armaments company who specialize in cutting edge products and Omni Consumer Products.
The C.R.A.B was intended to modernize politicizes starting from the streets of London; it was produced in secrecy for many years. However new and latest models are designed keeping in mind the military technology and utility. The CRAB robot owns six independent legs so that it could move in any kind of topography easily and swiftly. It featured all kinds of latest gadgets, futuristic weapons including armor, armaments and smoke screen capabilities. It can distinguish between friend and foe using state of the art artificial intelligence provided in its system.
Unluckily it broke down on its first ever public excursion. You can see the robot having a meltdown in the outstanding ‘rampage’ animation created by the designer.
